Whenever I walk past store windows, updated almost daily with new and cookie cutter products, I wonder: “How many more variations of a tee or sneakers can one possibly buy?” Turns out, quite a lot.
This time, zooming out from the previous experiment on microplastics, I built a visualisation that looks at some of the major sources: discarded purchases through a consumer’s lifetime.
It was also a chance to explore something I care deeply about in AI-assisted work: continuity and consistency. With some persistence and a few different approaches, I was able to refactor and evolve my earlier code into a visual narrative that builds on the preceding chapter.
